Stretch marks??? Loose skin???

i'm overweight right now, and i'm trying REALL HARD to lose weight... i've been on my plan about a good 3 weeks or soo...

however i'm just now noticing just how many stretch marks i have from getting fat, and i'm starting to worry that i'm so big, that when i DO lose the weight i'll have loose skin (ugh)

i'm 5'9, 19, 240 (target weight is 170), and i have stretch marks, like, EVERYWHERE... mainly on my stomach, but some light and small ones on my back, waist and arms.

is there ANYTHING that can be done for me after i lose the weight? or am i just gonna be thin with an UGLY A** torso???

Stretch marks??? Loose skin???
sure. do a lot of cardio.(running etc) This way you won't have any left overs. tone it down with small weights. Eat properly. Gradually decrease your bodies' weight together with increasing the rate of metabolism, and you shouldn't have any problems. Don't just change yourself physically. Its much more important to change mentally. thanks.
Reply:well if you do have lose skin.. after you lose all that weight.. then you could always go to the doctor.. and they remove it.. exactly what kinda diet are you on??
Reply:liposuction, or maybe cellulite creme
Reply:if you re 19 your skin may bounce back most of the way it will just take time after you reach your goal and have given the skin time to tighten up you may need cosmetic surgery
Reply:First off, Liposuction will NOT remove extra skin or improve the appearance of cellulite. The fade marks will fade on their own and usually end up a tad lighter than the rest of your skin. I myself had a baby last July and the last 2 wks of the pregnancy I EXPLODED with stretch marks. Most of them have completely faded. I too have extra skin. That will be dealt with by having a tummy tuck when I'm done having kids in a few years.

As long as you keep the weight loss slow and steady, no crash diets and major weight loss, the skin should retract some on its own. I am 5'10'' and 220...with a target of 180. I have lost 24 lbs (as of today) over the last 6 months.

Remember, slow and steady wins the race! Good Luck!
