How to loose forty pounds and not have your neck have loose skin when you are in your fifties.?

I am loosing weight and I have noticed women who loose alot look awful as their skin hangs around their neck. Is there something I can do other then surgery? If that happens to me?

I'm at the door step of fifty, and I heard there were exercises to help with throat/neck. I did them for months, and I got muscle in my sag, not to mention a pain in the neck.


Losing weight will make you feel better, and if you feel better you'll be able to overlook the sag.


Well, not really, but you will still feel better. We are often too hard on ourselves for things we cannot change or accept.
Reply:I would ask your doctor, or just get like a pill to help you, cause I know some people that had lost like 45 pounds and then took this pill and they don't have saggy skin, it is tight, well not as tight as like a 20 year old but like a 30 year old.. Hope I could help...
Reply:it really depends on the persons skin and how fast they lose the weight. you should try a skin firming system like doves (body wash, lotion) and work weight lifting into ur work out it tones ur body. ive lost about 50 lbs and my skin is actually firmer than before. good luck i hope i helped somewhat

Reply:I don't know about sagging skin. I am a woman of 42, I have a body of a 18 year old. Since the age of 18 I always had a memership to a spa or club. I would exercise 3 to 4 hours cardio, weights, 600 to 800 crunches, back routine. All the people I worked out were 35 to 50 and they were 100% more fit then the 18 year olds that I see on the street. I am shocked when I see these young kids with bellys that look their 6 monthes pregnant. easy for me to say this since I have six pack abs.
