Fat or loose skin?

I lost a lot of weight....about 3o pounds......but I still have flab on my thighs and stomach....I'm not sure if this is fat or loose skin... on other parts of my body, I'm bony ...........so I'm not sure.......Thanks!

its probably fat...its not like you did gastric bypass, i'm assuming. do squats and lunges with free weights in your hands. also try doing ballet barre. when i was taking ballet for 10 years, my legs were very toned.
Reply:Squeeze it. If it stretches back out quickly, it is some fat left over. Do weightlifting to tighten up everything.

Reply:its most likely fat, how did you lose the weight? if you lost it by dieting and not much excercise then you need to workout to get everything tight. turn the fat into muscle.

Reply:It depends on how much you weigh now in comparison with your height and muscle content....but very likely, it could be loose skin.
Reply:it depends! Heres a suggestion...do some yoga and on top of eating right and your daily routine, try some flexability training. Weather it's loose skin or fat it doesn't matter, you'll build muscle and tone down sure thing.
Reply:you should have been working out while losing weight in order to keep that skin toned. now, the only answer is the same answer: workout but it is going to be harder now.

Reply:It could be either one, or both. If it's skin, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. If it's flab, working out with weights, and doing crunches, squats and lunges will help you tone. You should go ahead and try to tone anyway.
Reply:Its most likely fat .You have to be extremely obese in order to have extra skin,and even then you would have had to lose a massive amount of body weight in order to have skin hang loosely off of your body,Not just 30 lbs.Keep up your diet but combine it with a regular exercise including some cardio

Don't worry. It will go away when you gain 90 pounds due to ruining your metabolism.
