Can you get rid of stretch marks and loose skin after breast feeding?

I BREAST FED MY BOY UNTIL HE WAS 1 AND WHEN I FINISHED I MY BREAST WENT DOWN IN SIZE DRAMATICALLY. I NOW HAVE STRETCH MARKS AND LOOSE SKIN WHICH LOOKS TERRIBLE AND IT HAS BEEN 4 MONTHS SINCE I FINISHED. CAN I EXPECT THEM TO EVER TIGHTEN UP, OR IS THERE SOMTHING I CAN DO, OR USE

Can you get rid of stretch marks and loose skin after breast feeding?
I hate to be the bad news but I have found no miracle cream or drug. If you use mederma on the stretch marks they may lighten a little. I have tried everything shy of a tummy tuck/boob job. Keep your skin hydrated *drink lots of water* and lotion up with a good lotion regurarly.

Time has really helped my stretch marks... They were bright purple and now a light silver color. (almost 2 years old now). As far as the skin sag... That is nature honey. It sucks and depressing but it is the price for bearing children! don't get too down, most women who breast feed/bear children have the same probs. we are all in the same sagging boat!
Reply:Stretch marks are forever and the loose skin, even with exercise wont go away. I've heard plastic surgery is the best option to control the loose skin and get your breasts to appear as they were before. I've also read that Retinol can make the appearance of strech marks lighter, so you make want to speak to your dermatologist about that.
Reply:I have the same problem..just had baby #2, gained 50+ pounds with both of them. I use this awesome skin conditioning oil and rejuvenating cream and it has been working! Loose skin--only thing you can do is exercise and hope for the best, but the stretch marks you can control! Good luck!
Reply:sweetheart i know what you mean.. i went from a size A to a D and am at a B cup now.. and it looks horrible. you really cant do anythin about the loose skin... but i used maderma... its and ointnment you can puchase at any drug store. and its kind of expensive for a little bottle but its a miricle on strech marks.. it dosent make them go away but they basicly turn clear so you can hardly see them... but good luck and i wish you the best.....
Reply:Cocoa butter is used for both preventing stretch marks and treating them. If the weight gain is due to pregnancy, the cocoa butter should be rubbed daily on the affected area. Cocoa butter should be applied to the skin soon after a warm water bath, when the pores are open and the cocoa butter is easily absorbed. Shea butter may also be used instead of cocoa butter.
