I've recently lost about 50lbs and my weight is now considered normal yet I still have quite a bit of fat around my butt and hips including cellulite. Also, my skin is a little loose in some places. I drink plenty of water and I've recently started exercising. I was just wondering what types of exercises would improve my condition. Currently, I alternate between the treadmill, elliptical, and stair thingy. Does anyone else have this problem? Please help!
How do I get rid of cellulite and loose skin?
Go to GNC or any other nutrition store and ask for a supplement called X-Pel. It works.
Reply:My family and I have been using the best cleansing technology...:)the first time I did it, I lost 16 pounds in 9 days:)...check out this site....w w w .cleansewithcgnj .com
It will change your life:)
the main reason for obesity in this country is because of all the toxins we ingest on a day to day basis.....When you ingest a toxin, the liver takes a fat cell and surrounds the toxin to protect it from your vital organs.....That’s why traditional diets do not work....they don't get rid of the toxins....so your body refuses to shed the fat....So, when you do this cleanse and get all the toxins out of your system, the body recognizes this and begins to shed the fat....
Reply:Just basically keep doing what you are doing plus add in some strenght training and it should tighten up!
Reply:lipo suction!!!! thats what I'm going to do!!
Reply:Massage your cellulite w/baby oil for 5-10min. straight. And really get in there. That deep massage will move some of the cellulite around. Cellulite is just fat that gets stuck, we need to move it around.
Reply:keep healthy that is good..the person that said to add some strength training is right...that will add more muscle instead of fat..making your skin more tight
Reply:Sounds like you need to tone up what you've lost. Just concentrate on strength training exercises to tighten those loose areas up.

Can you get rid of stretch marks and loose skin after breast feeding?
I BREAST FED MY BOY UNTIL HE WAS 1 AND WHEN I FINISHED I MY BREAST WENT DOWN IN SIZE DRAMATICALLY. I NOW HAVE STRETCH MARKS AND LOOSE SKIN WHICH LOOKS TERRIBLE AND IT HAS BEEN 4 MONTHS SINCE I FINISHED. CAN I EXPECT THEM TO EVER TIGHTEN UP, OR IS THERE SOMTHING I CAN DO, OR USE
Can you get rid of stretch marks and loose skin after breast feeding?
I hate to be the bad news but I have found no miracle cream or drug. If you use mederma on the stretch marks they may lighten a little. I have tried everything shy of a tummy tuck/boob job. Keep your skin hydrated *drink lots of water* and lotion up with a good lotion regurarly.
Time has really helped my stretch marks... They were bright purple and now a light silver color. (almost 2 years old now). As far as the skin sag... That is nature honey. It sucks and depressing but it is the price for bearing children! don't get too down, most women who breast feed/bear children have the same probs. we are all in the same sagging boat!
Reply:Stretch marks are forever and the loose skin, even with exercise wont go away. I've heard plastic surgery is the best option to control the loose skin and get your breasts to appear as they were before. I've also read that Retinol can make the appearance of strech marks lighter, so you make want to speak to your dermatologist about that.
Reply:I have the same problem..just had baby #2, gained 50+ pounds with both of them. I use this awesome skin conditioning oil and rejuvenating cream and it has been working! Loose skin--only thing you can do is exercise and hope for the best, but the stretch marks you can control! Good luck!
Reply:sweetheart i know what you mean.. i went from a size A to a D and am at a B cup now.. and it looks horrible. you really cant do anythin about the loose skin... but i used maderma... its and ointnment you can puchase at any drug store. and its kind of expensive for a little bottle but its a miricle on strech marks.. it dosent make them go away but they basicly turn clear so you can hardly see them... but good luck and i wish you the best.....
Reply:Cocoa butter is used for both preventing stretch marks and treating them. If the weight gain is due to pregnancy, the cocoa butter should be rubbed daily on the affected area. Cocoa butter should be applied to the skin soon after a warm water bath, when the pores are open and the cocoa butter is easily absorbed. Shea butter may also be used instead of cocoa butter. Has anyone lost a lot of weight and not had really loose skin afterward?
I see ads and stories about people who have lost lots and lots of weight and some have lots of really loose skin afterward and others doubt. I'm told that you always have the loose skin and the ones who don't appear to have it, had some type of plastic surgery. Is this true?
Has anyone lost a lot of weight and not had really loose skin afterward?
I takes a few years for the skin to go back. If you have stretch marks, it doesn't go back all the way. I was lucky and did not have stretch marks.
I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.
Good LUCK!
Reply:no not me but boy did I have a lot of stretch marks
Reply:It all depends on what they ate and how long it took to lose the weight. People can lose weight relatively quickly on the high protein diet and not get flabby skin, as the protein helps tone the muscles and skin.
Reply:Usually..skin becomes loose after losing weight..and stretch marks are left..however..for the loose skin, it can be made muscular thus it wont be loose..as for the stretch mark,well..there are some cream available in drug store(How far are they reliable??)

How can a 16 yr old female prevent loose skin/flabbiness when losing 37to 40 pounds?
is the loose skin just when someone loses alot of weight or alot quickly?
How can a 16 yr old female prevent loose skin/flabbiness when losing 37to 40 pounds?
It should snap back since you are young and aren't losing that much weight. And yes, it tends to hang at first when you loose it quickly, but that will change in time. It helps if you do toning exercises also.
Reply:To avoid flabbiness, losing weight also requires one to exercise to maintain elascity. I pressume she lose weight without physical exercise?
Reply:Well...
Naturally, human skin is a very unique thing... Skin can stretch or shrink naturally with a humans diet...
If you are going to excersize to loose this weight, you skin should shrink along with you...
The only time that skin gets 'flabby' is if someone were to get plastic surgery or 'gasteric bypass type surgerys'.
Reply:thats pretty easy to do - just excercise regularily and make sure you take vitamins - especially Vitamin E which is for healthy skin. If the skin dosen't reduce naturally after a month or so, then you may want to consider medical treatment.
Reply:I lost 30 pounds over the past year, and I didn't really have any extra skin (I'm 15) so I wouldn't worry about it toooo much.
If you are indeed worried, then work out 3 times a week for a half an hour at a time, and gradually increase it (it's healthy for you anyway!)
Good luck!!
Reply:I'm 16, and over the last year, i've lost 50 lbs (yay me!) as long as you do it in a healthy fashion (diet %26amp; exercise, yadayadayada) your skin should shrink back on it own.
Reply:get Oil Olay night cream .
Reply:Don't lose it TOO fast, and exercise, exercise, exercise! Keep the muscles toned. At your age, the skin is very elastic. You should have no problems. ps...good for you for doing it!!!! Good luck!
Reply:if you exercise while losing you should have no problem. at yr age you still have alot of elasticity in yr skin. read tips on weight loss and exercise programs on this site

Why does a hamster has a lot of "loose skin" on their neck?
I have a drawf hamster, Sandy. She has a lot of "loose skin" on her neck. I picked up her by the scruff.
Why does a hamster has a lot of "loose skin" on their neck?
So they can curl up. If they didn't have the extra skin, they couldn't get into a little ball to sleep.
Reply:I think because just like cats, the parents can carry their children by grabbing them from the loose skin.
Reply:I think it's so they can squeeze into and out of tight spaces........
but i'm not sure.
It is an interesting question.......
I've noticed the same with dogs I"ve shared my life with and always thought it was to protect them from other animals in fights.
Reply:It could be their cheek pockets. Hamsters have huge pockets in their cheeks to transport material/food

What do you think of stretch marks and loose skin on the tummy?
I'm just curious of the general opinion of your views on women who have had child(ren) who are now left with stretchmarks and loose skin. Do you think it's gross? I am mostly concerned with men's views on this....
What do you think of stretch marks and loose skin on the tummy?
I think 'that's just life'.
Reply:Pretty normal, don't you think??? women have an unreasonable expectation that they'll still look 18 when their 38. Won't happen!!
Reply:It's never bothered me!
Reply:it is weird with me and stretch marks, because i've never had a kid and i've had them since i was an anorexic kid. i was like 98 lbs and 5'4 when i first got them. so i don't even pay attention to them anymore. but mederma gets rid of them.

Why does my snapping turtle (5 month)have loose skin and what should i feed him in winter?
he always has loose skin and i dont know what i could feed him. i put meat in the freezer but he doesnt eat much so the meat like expires, same with the frozen fish
Why does my snapping turtle (5 month)have loose skin and what should i feed him in winter?
Don't worry about it. I've let my snapper go dormant each winter for 32 years. He doesn't eat much until the weather warms up. Don't toss the meat or fish. If you are worried about freezer burn (your turtle won't care), freeze the food, put it in a small plastic bag with water, and then freeze it again. There might be an expiration date on the package but turtles can't read.
Reply:He is shedding skin its what turtles do. the process is called sloughing. He may not be eating because he is getting too cold. Just get some heat into the tank. Its like hibenating, he gets too cold. This is called torpor
